About us
815 Badass Brass was created by women who saw a gap in the shooting sports community. As competitors, advocates, and defenders, we wanted merchandise that reflected the confidence, strength, and individuality of the women showing up on the range every day
Our mission is simple: create stylish, empowering gear for women who train, compete, carry, and stand proudly for their freedoms. Because serious defenders deserve more than generic gear—they deserve products that represent who they are.

Brooke is a proud co-owner of 815 Badass Brass, or 815BaB as we have been calling it. From winning the BB-gun champion patch at camp every year, to running a "warrior training school" for fellow neighborhood kids, Brooke has always been intrigued by firearms and blades. Now that Brooke is an adult and can do what she wants, she spends a lot of time (and money) shooting guns on the range and at local 3-gun matches, encouraging other women to equip and empower themselves, and being as crafty and build-y as possible.

Cathy Pompeo is a proud co-owner of 815 Badass Brass and a passionate advocate for women who embrace confidence, preparedness, and personal responsibility. A certified NRA Range Safety Officer, entrepreneur, competitive shooter, wife, mother, and grandmother, Cathy believes women deserve gear that reflects both their strength and style. Her mission is simple: empower women to show up boldly, train confidently, and never apologize for taking up space.

Misty Dosier is a proud co-owner of 815 Badass Brass and a passionate advocate for self-defense, training, and personal responsibility. After beginning formal firearms training in 2025, she quickly embraced competitive shooting and now enjoys encouraging other women to step confidently into the shooting community. An NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, software engineer, MBA, mom, and proud Nonnie, Misty believes serious defenders deserve gear that reflects both their strength and style.
